FACE DRIVERS FOR GRINDING
The first person to believe in this concept more than 30 years ago was Romano Franceschelli, who by then had a good ten years of experience in turning face drivers and realised that the time had come to develop this technique for diametric grinding of cemented pieces too, thus eliminating all the other types of grip such as the mandrel, clamp and grippers. This radically changed the concept of grinding, as the piece could be worked in one position only, guaranteeing perfect alignment.
Over the last decade, the teamwork which has developed between the sales and the technical departments, working closely with the client, has led to the face driver’s use in grinding, with excellent results.
