What is it about?
HYDRA 90 is the end-milling center designed to optimize and simplify end-milling, centering, drilling, and tapping operations.
How is it composed?
- BASE: Normalized welded steel structure.
- CLAMPS: Two independent self-centering clamps movable on the Z-axis, with hydraulic closure.
- PROCESS OPERATIONS: Two opposing work units, each moving on two work axes Y, Z.
- CONVEYOR BELT: Directional slides in the base convey the chips.
- OPERATOR PANEL: Touch screen with easy programming.
What advantages does it have over other end-milling centers?
- The distance of the clamps can be adjusted to the workpiece during setup: this reduces stress on the clamps and increases machining precision.
- The automatic position of the right and left carriages on the axes can be adjusted to allow two distinct simultaneous operations. Each head is independent and self-propelled, driven by Brushless motors.
Why choose HYDRA 90?
- Unlike traditional end-milling centers with a three-axis automatic machining process, HYDRA 90 has a four-axis automatic machining process: Z1, Z4, Y1, Y2 axes for head movement, Z2, Z3 axes for manual clamp movement.
