LIVE CENTERS FOR GRINDING
Tecnologie FRB offers a range of high-precision live centres for grinding with a maximum error margin of roundness and concentricity of 0.0015 and 0.0025 respectively. In order to attain such high precision levels, live centres for grinding are fitted with 5 high precision bearings, selected and adjusted to the shaft and the barrel.
All of our live centres are characterised by the shaft with a hardened metal point suitable for machining tempered materials. The extremities of the shaft are available in 3 standard geometries in order to enable the optimal contact with the shaft in all conditions. The live centres are also available in the version with interchangeable tips and cone-shaped ring carrier, with the same specifications and characteristics.
Furthermore, Tecnologie FRB supplies all its live centres for grinding with grease lubrication (standard) and desired, with spray oil. The machine connections require MT3, 4 and 5 while for heavier loads MT6, 7 or MT80 and 100 are used. Points with special geometries can be designed and developed on request.
